Park BenchPublishing

Our story

A Bible is the first book a family keeps — and one of the few they share across generations.

Traditional publishers lock custom Bibles behind 500- or 1,000-copy minimums. So churches settle for stickers on stock covers, parents settle for etched-name Bibles off a factory line, and couples settle for something generic on the day they said “yes.” We built Park Bench Publishing so you can order onefully personalized Bible — from a small outreach booklet under $10to a cloth-bound heirloom — without that minimum.

What we actually print

12editions, every one printed and bound in the United States through our production partner, Lulu Print on Demand. Perfect-bound paperbacks, casewrap hardcovers, coil-bound journaling editions, saddle-stitched booklets, compact A5 travel readers, pocket gift Bibles — and the cloth-bound heirloom flagship. Same bindery, same paper options, same standards, whether you order one copy or one thousand.

What’s different is the math. Traditional publishers need to sell 500+ of one SKU to make it work. We built a flat-margin pricing engine on top of on-demand printing so you can order one book, fully personalized, at a price that still resembles a retail Bible.

What we refuse to fake

  • We use real cloth wrap, not pleather stickers over a paper case. It feels like a book you’d hand down, because it is.
  • We use real metallic gold foil on the spine, stamped by a press. Not printed gold ink. Not toner. You can feel the deboss.
  • We use public-domain translations (KJV, WEB, ASV, Douay-Rheims, Revised Version, BSB, and Geneva). No royalty markup, no licensing lock-in, no tracking cookies on your dedication page. Ever.

What we’re honest about

We don’t offer leather, bonded leather, or faux-leather covers — our printer doesn’t do them, and we’d rather be honest than misleading. We don’t do gold-edged page gilding or sewn-in bookmark ribbons. Our largest single volume tops out at around 800 pages, so a thinline full Bible is possible but a wide-margin study Bible is a two-volume set.

If you need those features, other publishers do them well. If you want a named-and-dated custom Bible — paperback or hardcover, pocket or journal-size, cloth or card — without waiting six weeks for a factory bulk run, we’re exactly what you want.
